TITAS Faves DIAVOLO Leave Audience Wanting More


Diavolo made their triumphant return to the TITAS Dance Season last weekend, and once again, one of the most unique and inventive modern dance ensembles in existence today showed off their remarkably athletic and acrobatic originality.

"Diavolo flirted with danger Friday night at McFarlin Auditorium, as dancers catapulted from a 15-foot ladder, leapt across a pitched deck and flew blindly into a comrade's arms.

It was heady stuff, and the derring-do reached new heights with each work. But hidden beneath the LA-based troupe's acrobatic-cum-martial arts feats lay tantalizing metaphor."
